San Diego Safari Park

Get wild at the San Diego Zoo’s Safari Park, a wildlife preserve that protects 2,500 Asian and African animals, including many endangered species. Go on a safari adventure and explore a natural habitat where the animals live and roam freely, and see exciting animal shows.

Enjoy an exciting expedition on the Africa Tram Safari and get close with curious giraffes, massive rhinos, graceful gazelles, and horned antelopes. Visit the Elephant Viewing Patio in Elephant Valley to hear stories about the amazing elephant herd. Walk through the palm trees of the Savanna Cool Zone and see a lion and a crocodilian. See the cheetahs - the fast animals in the world - race in the Cheetah Run. Meet a talking zebra, feed the colorful lorikeets, and pet gentle goats.
